Welcome to Humanities at Appleton Academy! We look forward to welcoming you in September. In the Humanities Faculty, we have three departments: Geography, History and Religious Education. You will also study PSHCE. Over the next 5 years you will discover how humankind has shaped, and been shaped by, the world around us. Our world is a fascinating place and we want to help you explore it. We love to discuss important issues and share our opinion and are excited about the contributions you will make to our community. It is important we study these subjects to help us understand the world in which we live and prepare ourselves for life in modern Britain.
